This December, the 3rd Spectrum Tokyo Festival 2024 will be held on December 7-8. We have already announced the call for sponsors, and now we are excited to announce the call for speaker applications.

We are looking for speakers/facilitators

At the Spectrum Tokyo Festival, we host talks and workshops across multiple tracks. These curated content sessions are designed to help participants gain new insights and inspiration. Spectrum Tokyo will curate these sessions, and we are always seeking new encounters through open calls for speakers.

The Theme

“Diversity and Possibilities of Design”

The term “design” has become so broad and expansive that it’s hard to know what’s being discussed when used alone. Nowadays, design methods and areas of design are diverse, and design is expanding from its narrow industry into a wider world.

There may be many people who think that design is spreading too much and becoming unmanageable. However, we feel that this expansion is the value and potential of design. We believe that design is not only for designers but for all creative kinds. We want to be excited about the fact that design is becoming more and more mainstream and important, and that’s what this festival is all about.

We, at Spectrum Tokyo believe that there are as many ways of design as there are people. The same goes for this festival, as we will have many speakers and participants from various areas talking about their diverse perspectives and possibilities in design.
