Announcing Spectrum Tokyo Festival 2024, Call for Early Bird Sponsors
We are proud to announce “Spectrum Tokyo Festival 2024“, a design festival happening December 7, 8 in Tokyo. Following the highly successful Spectrum Tokyo Festival we held last December, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be hosting it again this year.

We’d like to start by announcing the event and opening early bird sponsors in advance.
About the Festival

“Spectrum Tokyo Festival 2024” is a two-day design conference organized by Spectrum Tokyo, a design content platform that focuses on the diversity of design. Talks and workshops related to design in a broad sense will be held in multiple tracks. In the mingle area, there will be interactive booths, as well as opportunities for networking over food and drinks. It’s a place where practitioners of design, regardless of their field, profession, or nationality, can meet, discuss, and connect over two days.
You can find last year’s wrap-up here.

Dates and Format
This year, Spectrum Tokyo Festival 2024 will be held on December 7 (Sat) and December 8 (Sun), and there probably won’t be any livestreaming.
As in previous years, we will be using the venue provided by DMM.com in Roppongi. The dates pretty much the same timeframe and venue as last year, so last year’s photos on this post will give you a good idea of what to expect from the event.
While the first festival in 2022 was a hybrid event with both in-person and livestream, last year we decided to focus more on the in-person experience and did not livestream the event. This year, we plan to follow a similar approach. We believe that the essence of the event lies in the interactions between people, which cannot be fully captured through livestreams or recorded videos. Therefore, we made the decision to prioritize the on-site experience, which resulted in a big success with lots of engagement. We hope that attendees will be able to free up their schedules and join us at the venue from morning until evening on both days.
However, last year we received a significantly higher number of applications than the venue capacity allowed, and we reached full capacity even during the early bird ticket sales, leaving more than 100 people unable to attend. We apologize to those who were unable to attend last year. Due to this situation, we are reconsidering if we can bring back livestreaming and archived content in a way that does not interfere with our core concept. We will announce our decision regarding this matter when we officially announce the event.

Call for Early Bird Sponsors
The event is still a long way off, but we are already accepting applications from companies interested in sponsoring. If your company would like to support and participate in this festival, please contact us. There is an early bird discount for all plans if you apply by the end of April. Additionally, each plan has a limited number of slots, so decisions will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re interested, please contact us as soon as possible.

Upcoming schedule
We plan to open speaker applications around June and start general ticket sales around October. We encourage you to keep the event dates (December 7-8) open.
We will continue to share new information on LinkedIn, Instagram, and discord so please follow us if you haven’t.
We look forward to having a great time with everyone at the festival at the end of the year.

We look forward to seeing you in December.
