About This Event
Spectrum Tokyo is all about new design trends and digging into broader perspectives in technology and design.
This meetup is where designers (and non-designers) gather to talk randomly about design, share ideas, and casually connect. We feel that the local designers have little chance to speak English and interact with international talents, which is such a loss of opportunity in many ways.
To broaden perspectives, this event welcomes not only Japanese attendees but also international participants. It is conducted in both Japanese and English, with the lightning talks presented in a mix of both languages. We hope both Japanese speakers and English speakers can support each other and enjoy language exchange through design topics.
*we have been holding separate event for Japanese and English, but since both event attracted a similar audience of Japanese and international participants, we’ve decided to merge them and try a bilingual format this time.

Tickets
At this event, we are using the external event platform ‘Tito’ for registration, and credit card payments are processed through ‘Stripe’.
Notes
- The event will be conducted in both English and Japanese. However, the facilitation may place more emphasis on Japanese. Please don’t hesitate to inform our staff if you have any difficulties understanding the content.
- We will open the venue from 18:45. You cannot enter before that time.
- The office is non-smoking.
Call for Speakers
We are looking for speakers in our upcoming events. People from any industry, job titles, skill levels are welcome, as long as you are talking about design (we are a design community within the area of IT, so it should be somewhat relevant to technology).
If you wish to speak, send your pitch to via Google Form.
- The talk themes will be the same as above.
- We do not accept if your talk is going to be mainly about recruiting designers or selling your products.
