Spectrum Tokyo Meetup #16

日本語のご案内はこちら
About This Event
Spectrum Tokyo is all about new design trends and digging into broader perspectives in technology and design.
This meetup is where designers (and non-designers) gather to talk randomly about design, share ideas, and casually connect. We feel that the local designers have little chance to speak English and interact with international talents, which is such a loss of opportunity in many ways.
This time, the theme of the Meetup is “Design Organizations,” focusing on practical discussions surrounding this topic. To maximize the value of design, building a strong organization and contributing to business strategy are essential. The event will feature nine speakers who will share insights on topics such as designing and scaling design teams, establishing processes to foster cross-functional collaboration, and effectively communicating the value of design to executives.
This time, since we had an exceeding numbers of Japanese speaker proposals and almost none English, the lightning talks (LT) will all be in Japanese. We are planning to make a video recording with English translations. We encourage attendees to support one another and enjoy discussions about design, even if Japanese is not their primary language. Let’s make the most of this opportunity to connect and share ideas across the community.

Call for Speakers
We’re looking for speakers for our upcoming events! Anyone from any industry, job role, or experience level is welcome, as long as your talk is about design and fits the monthly theme. Since we’re a design community in IT, the topic should be somewhat related to technology.
If you’re interested in speaking or want to see the theme for the next event, visit our portal for more details.
- We do not accept if your talk is going to be mainly about recruiting designers or selling your products.
